The short version
- Your baby's plan and logs live on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account, shared only with people you invite. We don't have a copy.
- The app only sends information to our AI provider when you've said yes, and our server doesn't store what's sent.
- There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and we never sell your information.
- If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address only to tell you about the app.
Who we are
Remy's Plan is made by Jason Lindquist ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@remysplan.com.
This website
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the date you signed up. We send you one confirmation right away, then use your address to invite you to try early versions of the app and to tell you when it launches. These emails are sent through Cloudflare's email service, which handles your address only to deliver them. We don't share it with anyone else. To be removed, reply to any of our emails or write to support@remysplan.com, and we'll delete it.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Everything else, fonts included, comes from our own site. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and this site doesn't set cookies.
The app
Your baby's information stays with you
The plan, the sleep, feeding, diaper and medicine logs, notes, and the plan history are stored on your iPhone and in your private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit. We can't see any of it.
Sharing with caregivers
If you invite someone, Apple's CloudKit sharing gives them your baby's nickname, birthday, plan and logs, stored in your iCloud account. The first name you enter in Settings shows next to what you log. Each person's AI permission and coach chats stay their own. You can remove anyone at any time, which takes the baby off their iPhone. If you delete all data, everyone you've invited loses it too. Invitations are sent by you, through Apple; we never see who you invite.
AI features
The interview that builds your plan, the ✦ box that turns what you type into log entries, the coach and the daily reviews use AI models from OpenAI. Before anything is sent for the first time, the app tells you what will be sent and asks for your permission. You can say no and still use logging, the timer and your plan.
When you use these features, the app sends only what the AI needs: what you type, your baby's age (or adjusted age), your interview answers, your plan, and the last four weeks' logged times and notes. It doesn't send your name, your email address, your baby's name or birthday. The request goes through our server to OpenAI, and the answer comes back to your phone. Our server doesn't store what you send or what comes back. To prevent abuse, it checks that requests come from the real app and counts how many each device makes.
Under OpenAI's terms for business use, OpenAI doesn't use this information to train its models and may keep it for up to 30 days to watch for abuse. You can read OpenAI's privacy policy.
Payments
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details.
Deleting your data
"Delete all data" in the app's settings removes your baby's information from your iPhone and your iCloud account. Deleting the app and its iCloud data does the same.
Health information
Information about your baby's sleep and feeding may count as health information under some state laws, such as Washington's My Health My Data Act. We collect it only to provide the features you ask for, we don't sell it, and we share it only as described above. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@remysplan.com.
Children
Remy's Plan is for parents and caregivers. It isn't meant for children to use, and the information about your baby is entered by you.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we handle your information, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
